Rewrite it: Perspectives

Students read one of the provided stories or poems of various genres, and creatively rewrite it from the perspective of a different character (or even object.)

Hidden Figures Research / Black History Month

To go along with studies of Black History Month in ELA and the Civil War in Social Studies, Students learned about 19 different "Hidden Figures" that were/are influential in there own right, but purposefully ignored by history for some reason.
They then chose two to become experts on, and choose a medium to creatively tell their stories.

Students were required to create a story using Microsoft Word and saving the file as a PDF. Documents were transformed into a digital book.
