State Education Agencies are a blended and dedicated team of professionals tasked with being a system of educational institutions that unlock a student’s access to acquire knowledge and skills necessary for college, career, and life success. The State Education Agency Playbook unites a SEA around a unified vision, leverages public and private funds, strengthens partnerships, and aligns accountability systems to improve college and career pathways for students.
This resource was created as part of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Adult, and Technical Education’s Unlocking Career Success (UCS) initiative, a core element of the Department’s Raise the Bar agenda.
