English Learner Playbook

Language development is a core aspect of career-connected learning. Developed together, being multilingual, multiliterate, and multicultural is an asset in both our classrooms and in our places of work, which can unlock postsecondary and career access, earn valuable industry credentials, and connect our nation’s youth to the global economy. As the English learner population grows, state and local leaders will need to secure investments into this population as it will become essential to meet national workforce needs. The English Learner Playbook is a comprehensive guide to ensure English learner students receive access to high-quality career pathways and achieve long-term success.
