Location: Virtual

As generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) rapidly transforms how we create, consume, and share information, educators face new challenges—and opportunities—in helping students navigate this evolving landscape responsibly.

In celebration of Media Literacy Week, ISTE + ASCD and All4Ed’s Future Ready Schools® (FRS) are teaming up to present a two-part webinar series exploring the intersection of AI, media literacy, and digital citizenship.

The New Literacies in the AI Era webinar series emphasizes the shift from a single literacy to multiple literacies needed in today’s classrooms.

  • Webinar 1: Critical Thinking in the AI Era (October 30th at 5:00 pm ET) — Learn about evaluating information, separating fact from fiction, and redefining authenticity when AI can mimic human expression.
  • Webinar 2: Creation in the AI Era (December 11th at 5 pm ET) — Understand what it means to be a creator in the digital age, balancing human creativity with AI tools, and navigating the ethics and rights of digital content.
