Connecticut Future Ready Cohort Workshop
Creating Future Ready Schools and Beyond
It’s go time! Join us for the Connecticut Future Ready Cohort kickoff workshop, where your district team will begin to develop a customized, evidence-based action plan to help deliver on the promise of innovation and excellence in your district.
At the Creating Future Ready Schools and Beyond workshop on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, we will dive deeply into the Future Ready Framework, the five-step planning process , and the tools and resources available to you and your district as you set specific progress goals for digital learning transformation.
The workshop will be facilitated by Future Ready’s Director of Innovation, Thomas C. Murray, and will model the high-quality instruction that we seek in professional learning programs and classrooms across the country. The agenda will be interactive, engaging, and inspiring as we:
- Dive into the gears of the Future Ready Framework;
- Discuss ways to ensure equitable access to robust learning opportunities for each student;
- Identify areas of need that will be matched with FRS tools and resources to be shared out after the workshop and throughout the course of the cohort;
- Familiarize ourselves with the cohort resources;
- Provide input into a customized schedule of meetings and topics to be addressed during the cohort.
Together, we will build leadership capacity and action plans to ensure our schools better prepare students for their successful futures. We look forward to working alongside you to propel your district forward!

Overall Cohort Goals
During our time together as a cohort (May to November), we will:
Collaboratively problem-solve with colleagues from around the state because this work is not easy to do alone.
Use the one-time catalytic relief (CARES and ARPA) investments to seize this unprecedented opportunity to build upon previous areas of excellence.
Identify and redesign areas of both strength and need to better serve each student.
Unlock the training, tools, and collegial accountability needed to drive transformation.
Leverage the best aspects of Future Ready Schools to set and accomplish your team’s unique goals.‘
