Washington, DC—”The new HEROES Act shows that children and their education are a priority to our country during this unprecedented crisis. This legislation provides the building blocks for public education to emerge from this pandemic stronger than when we entered it, particularly when it comes to providing home internet and digital access for the millions of children who fall into the homework gap. We need Congress to quickly pass, and the president to sign, this important measure so that we can begin providing relief to our teachers, families, and students.”
