Jazmin Flores Peña
Jazmin Flores Peña (she/her/ella) is a Policy Analyst at all All4Ed. She joins All4Ed with experience in research, policy analysis, and state partner engagement. Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Jazmin’s commitment to educational equity and social justice is rooted in her experience navigating the education system as a first-generation, child of immigrants’ student.
Jazmin started her career as a research assistant at the Migration Policy Institute (MPI) where she conducted research and policy analysis focused on advancing educational access and equity for Dual Language Learners (DLL), English Learners (EL), and children of immigrants. During her time at MPI, she conducted research on Family, Friend and Neighbor Care and school districts’ investments of American Rescue Plan Relief funds to support ELs.
Ms. Flores Peña holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University where she obtained her BA in linguistics, with a minor in education, inquiry, and justice, a special interdisciplinary program focused on the intersection of education and social justice. She also holds a master’s degree in education policy and management from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
