Washington, D.C. — “We are delighted that the Biden administration has named Jessica Rosenworcel the acting chair of the Federal Communications Commission. Commissioner Rosenworcel is a true champion for closing the homework gap and ensuring that the nearly 17 million children without home internet service don’t fall behind their more affluent classmates, particularly during the pandemic when so many students are receiving their education online. We look forward to continuing to work with Commissioner Rosenworcel on closing the digital divide for students and families.”
