Safe & Positive Social Media Use for Families
This workshop supports families in guiding childrenโs social media use with confidence. Parents and caregivers explore risks and benefits, learn strategies for managing privacy and safety, and consider ways to foster safe, respectful, and positive online interactions using real-life scenarios and ScreenReady resources.
Digital Citizenship for Families
This workshop introduces the essential elements of digital citizenship, including online safety, privacy, respectful communication, and responsible participation. Through grade-banded activities from The Achievery, families gain practical strategies to support healthy digital habits and create a shared โnext stepโ to strengthen online behavior at home.
AI Literacy for Families
This workshop helps families build a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence and how it shapes their daily digital experiences. Participants learn age-appropriate conceptsโfrom AI as a โsmart helperโ to algorithms, personalization, generative AI, and digital ethicsโwhile identifying family strategies for safe, informed, and responsible AI use.
Mastering Parental Controls with ScreenReady
This session helps parents move from feeling overwhelmed by technology to feeling empowered. Participants will learn that “Parental Controls” are not just about blocking content, but about creating healthy boundaries. While we will cover technical controls, the core focus is on the conversations that make those controls effective.
