Location: Virtual
Summer learning doesn’t have to mean worksheets or lost momentum. With the right tools and engaging content, it can be a time for curiosity, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences for students and families.
During this interactive session featuring resources from The Achievery, attendees explored ready-to-use summer learning choice boards designed by Shannon McClintock Miller. These choice boards were built to be easily shared by educators and used by families to support learning all summer long.
Attendees also heard directly from Digital Navigators who were using The Achievery in their communities. Each navigator highlighted two of their favorite lessons—showcasing how students engaged with interactive videos, on-screen activities, and hands-on learning experiences that extended beyond the screen.
- Ready to use summer learning choice boards to share with students and families
- Examples of engaging lessons across the curriculum
- Strategies to support interactive, hands-on learning beyond passive screen time
- Ways to extend learning into the home and community during the summer months
