Kyle Lachman

Kyle Lachman (he/him) is a Manager of Government Relations at All4Ed. In this role, he supports the State Policy Center’s work with policymakers and advocates to advance college and career pathways and expand opportunity for all students.

Prior to joining All4Ed, Kyle worked at the Data Quality Campaign, where he focused on education and workforce data policy. His work centered on state longitudinal data systems and the connections between K–12, postsecondary, and workforce systems that shape students’ pathways into college and careers. He tracked state legislation, produced policy resources, and managed partner coalitions working to strengthen data systems.

Kyle started his career in the classroom. As a bilingual first-grade teacher in a Title I school in Richmond, California, he taught English language learners and led parent engagement programs for the community. That classroom experience continues to shape how he thinks about policy and the students it serves.

Kyle holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a B.A. in international studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He has also completed fellowships at the Institute for Educational Leadership and the Center for Leadership and Educational Equity.
