On Wednesday, June 24, 2015, The Alliance held a conversation between Congressman Bobby Scott (D-VA), Ranking Member of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and the Workforce, and Gov. Bob Wise, president of the Alliance for Excellent Education.  The call  was a discussion of how proposals to reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), also known as the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), could be improved to ensure that all students have access to the educational opportunities they need to succeed.
