Linked Learning: California’s Approach to Preparing Students for College and Career

The Alliance for Excellent Education coordinated a site visit for federal staff and policymakers from the United States Congress and the United States Department of Education to witness a promising high school reform strategy in California called Linked Learning. The Linked Learning site visit took place in Porterville Unified School District, a rural school district that has seen highly successful results under Linked Learning implementation in a district largely comprised of low-income students of color.
