In continuation of the last video we posted on homelessness, this clip focuses on what exactly it means to be homeless from the student perspective. During this short video clip, you will hear from Adem Gurdal, a senior at the University of Florida, studying Marketing and working two jobs; Rachel Kindell, a sophomore at the University of New Mexico, studying Criminology and preparing for the Police Academy; and Naomi White, a junior at Gateway Community and Technical College in Cincinnati, OH, studying early childhood education. All of these young people were previously homeless while trying to gain a high school education.

To learn more about this issue, check out the full video from a recent Alliance webinar on the Impact of Homelessness on a Student’s Education.
