In continuation of the student interviews we have posted, this clip focuses on the challenges and everyday obstacles of being homeless in high school.  During this short video clip, you will hear from Naomi White, a junior at Gateway Community and Technical College in Cincinnati, OH, studying early childhood education; Tim Gurdal, a freshman at Santa Fe Community College, working full time; and Tim’s older brother Adem Gurdal, a senior at the University of Florida, studying Marketing and working two jobs.

All of these young people were previously homeless while trying to gain a high school education. We connected to these students through a scholarship program administered by our partner, the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth.
