“Today we mark a decade of celebrating Digital Learning Day (DLDay), an event that has grown to thousands of educators across the country shining a light on the important role that technology plays daily in education—now more than ever. Especially as the pandemic continues to interrupt in-person learning for millions of students across our country—and as educators continue to step up with passion and resilience to meet the needs of every student—we know that learning is not confined within school walls and to the school day. That’s why we continue to call for the federal government to step up to ensure every home has access to high-speed internet and digital devices so all students can learn wherever they are. Whether learning happens at home, school, a learning pod, or local coffee shop, it must be high- quality, customizable, and equitable for every student. We are grateful to the educators who have celebrated #DLDay with us over the last decade and look forward to hearing their latest innovations and successes.”
