Kristen Loschert
Kristen Loschert joined All4Ed in October 2014 as the senior editor/writer and became editorial director in November 2015. In her role as editorial director, Ms. Loschert manages the development and production of the organization’s diverse public-facing written and multimedia content—including reports, fact sheets, policy and issue briefs, and blog posts—from concept to completion.
Before coming to All4Ed, Ms. Loschert spent nearly a decade managing her own editorial consulting business, serving education associations, think tanks, universities, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations. Additionally, she served as editor of Tomorrow’s Teachers, a national magazine for preservice educators published by the National Education Association. In her role as editor, Ms. Loschert supervised all aspects of the magazine’s production, including a complete editorial and graphic redesign that expanded the content to meet the personal and career needs of beginning teachers. During her tenure at NEA, she also worked as a senior writer and section editor for the association’s flagship member magazine, NEA Today. Ms. Loschert has worked as an education reporter for daily newspapers in Richmond and Petersburg, VA, as well. She holds a master’s degree in education policy from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Richmond.
