Solution to lost early childhood opportunities in Mississippi?
JeMira Nichols entered kindergarten in this sleepy Delta town way ahead of her classmates ... Mississippi would save almost $37 million a year in community-college remediation and lost earnings if all high-school students who graduated were ready for college, according to the Alliance for Excellent Education, a Washington D.C.-based research and advocacy group.
