Remedial courses are not a waste of time says Western Michigan University President John M. Dunn
Western Michigan University President John M. Dunn says he doesn’t think remedial courses at universities lead to “nowhere.” ... The Alliance for Excellent Education, a Washington, D.C.-based advocacy group, estimates remedial classes costs $3.6 billion a year nationally and costs Michigan taxpayers $114 million a year.
