Faulty policies push students out of schools

More than 50,000 students left North Carolina schools in the past five years...The Alliance for Excellent Education's most recent report estimated that if even half of the 50,000 students who were pushed out of North Carolina schools had graduated with their classes in 2010, they, collectively, would have benefited from an increase of $211 million in earnings, and the state would have received an additional $20 million in tax revenue.
