‘Far too many’ school dropouts
What price does society pay for dropouts? That's a question being answered by a policy research organization based in Washington, D.C. Dropouts from the Class of 2006 will cost Florida more than $24.7 billion in lost wages, taxes and productivity over their lifetime, according to a recent report released by the Alliance for Excellent Education.
