Board probes missing students

If dropouts in Tennessee's class of 2006 had instead earned their diplomas with their classmates, the state's economy could have benefited from an additional $7.3 billion in wages over these students' lifetimes, according to a study released earlier this year by the Washington-based Alliance for Excellent Education.
