Over the years, states, regions, school districts, and individual campuses have created a variety of mentorship programs in their efforts to help new teachers survive. I cannot stress enough how important effective mentorship programs are. In a Huffington Post article posted online July 23, “Half of Teachers Leave The Job After Five Years.
