Three more states including Utah, Wyoming, and Nevada have conditionally adopted common standards, according to Education Week

The Democrat and Chronicle reports on high school seniors that have overcome serious odds and graduated from high school in Rochester, NY.

Tennessee schools outline their plans for how to spend Race to the Top monies including installing new technology in schools so teachers can participate in video conferencing and online training, hiring 12 data coaches to help teachers and principals learn how to better use academic data to guide lesson plans, and investing in teacher training.
