Students used the Promethean Board to play Prefix Pictionary. Students were given a sentence with a word containing a prefix, they had to use their knowledge of the prefix to draw an illustration of the sentence. The class had to try to determine what the word was from the picture given. Students worked together to collaborate and worked as a team.

My third graders have been using imagine learning and have been able to record themselves reading passages as well as practice writing. It saves their recordings and writings so that we can conference together. This has built their reading and writing fluency.

Students use chewy candy and toothpicks to make atom models of select elements from the periodic table. Using these models, they investigate the makeup of atoms, including their relative size. Students are then asked to form molecules out of atoms. Students also practice adding and subtracting electrons, protons, and, neutrons. #DLDay
