Everyone from parents to politicians has an opinion about the common core state standards. As the first state to fully implement the Common Core State Standards, hear what education leaders from the Kentucky Department of Education and Jefferson County Public Schools have to say about their work. Specifically, hear how district leaders from JCPS and school level leaders and educators from Seneca High School in Jefferson County, are putting schools at the center of their work insuring that they are fully resourced to support the shifts that need to be made with Common Core, particularly for struggling students.
