Alliance to Hold Webinar Examining Results from 2011 Nation’s Report Card

On Wednesday, November 30, from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. (ET), the Alliance for Excellent Education will hold a webinar to delve deeper into the reading and mathematics results on the 2011 National Assessment of Educational Progress, also known as the Nation’s Report Card.

The webinar will feature Jack Buckley, commissioner of the National Center for Education StatisticsDavid Driscoll, chair of the National Assessment Governing Board and former Massachusetts commissioner of education; and Bob Wise, president of the Alliance for Excellent Education and former governor of West Virginia.

Panelists will review findings from the Nation’s Report Cards in reading and math and discuss what can be done to close unacceptable achievement gaps and increase the achievement levels of all students.
